new to board. just bought a new 09 outback v w/ indmar assualt 325. curious if there is a service/repair manual out there to purchase? i have seen that there is a manual for 83-03 indmar engines. is there a newer version? i like doing service myself, but wanna make sure i am doing the right procedure, torques, ect. thanks for any input. regards.

spoon03 - I believe you should have received a service manual for your Indmar engine, as well as manuals for your trailer and sound system, at the time you took delivery of your boat. If you did not, then maybe you should contact your dealer or Skiers Choice. Another option is for you to contact Indmar Customer Service @ 901-353-9930. I bought my Outback in 2007 and received all of these. - Deerfield

Actually the manuals you receive at purchase are the owners manuals. They're decent for some information but a service manual has far more detail.

I have an '06 LSV and I just ordered the 83-03 manual yesterday. From what I gather, the Indmar Assault 325 hasn't changed much since '03. If you visit the Indmar page, the downloadable owners manual they list there states for '03 and newer boats so I'm guessing the 83-03 service manual is still applicable as well.

I received the 83-03 service manual yesterday. After thumbing through it, I think it may be a bit outdated but unfortunately I don't think an updated one exist that I can find anyway. It does have extensive valuable information that makes it worth the purchase for me.
