What is everyone doing for the boards that are too fat to fit in the tower racks? I have two surfboards that just won't fit and don't want to deal with them on the floor. Thanks

You'll either have to store them in the rear lockers or purchase racks that are made just for surfboards. There are many out there but the biggest problem is the oval tubing on the Moomba towers, unless you attach them to the round sections. I don't have them but some here do.

See Ed G -he has rack that fits 2 fat boards at the same time and was able to reuse the factory clamp system--rack was cheap if i remember and looks good also.

Just ordered two from DIYwake. Good deal and if the clamps line up....PERFECT!

we keep our surfboards on the z5 cargo rack. that thing is amazing. highly recomended modification to your boat.

I do the same thing. With all the straps it has i had to take a edge strap and one of the center straps to hold the board down. I love that Z5 rack.

I have a CWB Ride and if you push the smooth side into the rubber lips that hang down I can get the board into the stock racks. Its hard and I don't do it often pretty much because racks are always filled with wake boards but it is possible

:)

That is ideal, but is very, very expensive if not ordered with the boat.

I am ordering the Monster Tower cargo rack. Some others here have recommended it. It is much cheaper than the z5. See http://shop.monstertower.com/p-103-cargo-rack-bimini.aspx .

looks like on the boat with plenty of room! what kind of tower do you have? are they mounted on the flat horizontal bars or what? just trying to figure out if they will mount on my rad a cage tower.

i'll be taking mine in and out most every trip we make to the lake ...afraid it will either tear up the rubber lips or mess up the board! then be useless for the wakeboards later on
