I noticed when I shut the engine off some of the gauges dont zeror out for example; with the engin shut off, the RPM guage still reads approx 300rpm. as soon as I crank the engine over, it finally zeros out. Same applies for the oil pressure guage. Is this normal or am I looking at a warranty issue?

My 08OBV does the same thing. from what i can tell it is because you are killing power to the gauges when you turn the engine off so they dont have power to read the new settings.

Yea same thing in my LSV the gauges just read what ever they want when you kill power.
Gas gauge always displays less gas then what is there when i turn it off. So always stop the boat, leave it idle for a few seconds to get a real gas reading, the tank in the boats don't have baffles to slow the sloshing of fuel like cars have so you gas gauge will move up to 1/4 tank at a time from acceleration and turning.
