nothing like taking a guy out that has been on the water, but hasn't been ON the water in a long time. he was thinking about buying a twin-jet seadoo boat or the like. think I sold him on surfing his first time out. this was his second attempt, fell on the first try.
still have a lot to teach him, but I love sharing the sport with others....

only downside is cutting down on my riding time :)

Awesome pic. What lake, where you located?

Your quick story reminds me that the joy is in the sharing, not always in the receiving. Keep giving bro!!

ed..
tried to get him turned around, but at this point, just getting him up was half the battle. we'll work on one-handed form next :)
he only rode for 3-4 minutes and gave up. he had a sprained finger from smashing it in a door..

it's lucky peak outside of boise idaho. nice lake, around 200ft deep 30ft off the banks.
room for several hundred boaters without annoying anyone..

For the one handed stance.. what is this stance? Is it like wake boarding to make sure your posture and stuff is correct? Please explain thanks

He does understand that at some time the point is to let go of the rope, right? :)

yea. he was pretty impressed that the boat could "pull" a surfer along. I suspect another trip would get him slacked...

I am impressed at the fact that he wasn't at the hospital. the door to his house weighs 400+lbs, solid wood with leaded glass and is 8ft tall.
