Atlanta Jam has been CANCELLED

I just got word back from Atlanta Marine that the Jamboree scheduled for the first week in June has been cancelled.

No further explanation was given.

As usual, there is no-one on these boards yacking up the other June event - The 2009 Towboat Reunion.

However, the boat dealer (Grandpa's Marine) and Russ Wilde are promoting the reunion and it will take place as scheduled.

In order to attend granspasmarine event, is it necessary that the boat was purchased from them? I purchased my boat from Chicago Sea Ray (Ultimate Wake), but was relocated about a month later to Virginia. I went the the CSR event in 08 7 and it was great. I would like to go to another event, but Chicago is a little far! Greensboro on the other is only a 3 hour drive.
