Suggestions for a Good Glue

My fender step pad has lost most of its adhesive and I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for a hefty glue. I'd just pull them off but the glue is stuck more on to the fender (along with dirt) than to the step pad and would be more work than I want.

I would try clear marine adhesive, i put some on some stair treads into the water for the kids and dogs. works awesome. i thinks its 3m marine

Shoe Goo is good to and might be easier to find. Its clear, fast drying, strong, slightly flexible adhesive, everything proof. You can find the stuff at wal-mart/kroger etc. Good luck.
