Due to yesterday's rock finding adventure, I'm in need of another prop. I plan on repairing our stock prop (OJ 13x13) and using as a spare. I found an OJ 13x12 online and the price is right, but I wanted to know if anyone has used this one before. It's an 07 Outback. Stock prop does fine, but when we really weigh the boat down the plane time increases quite a bit. With the 13x12, can someone lay out the pros and cons?

If money wasn't an issue I've heard many great reviews for the OJ 13x11.5 XMP, but because we plan on trading up in 6 months to a year I don't want to drop $400 for a prop.

Ive got a oj XMP 13x11.5 that has never been used still in the box, however it does have one small little ding in it that I dont think would hamper anything from where my dog knocked it over while it was in the box. I would sell it for 200.00 If you are interested I can send you some pics.

I'm not sure but anything less than what you have raises rpms/speed and bog even more loaded i think. Call OJ Props or Acme Props they are the experts and will give you all the advice you need. Props are expensivew and a wrong choice will cost you even more down the road.
