Got the XLV on the water today and things started bad. The heater core in front of the driver was pouring water. We got back to the dock, ran to a hardware store and just put a coupler between the water lines that feed the heater and we were off (problem too be delt with later). Went for the afternoon with the family and kids and got a wakeboard in and then the evening ride/night surfing was just the old married guys. Water was glass all day and some good tricks were landed. We upgraded the sacks in the rear to 750's so now there is 2700lbs of ballast and while the boat handled a bit like a turtle, the wake was amazing at 75 ft and 22/5 mph on our PP. It was so easy to land way out into the flats on tricks. And the surf wave was very big with a few people on the side of the boat. rode until my toes almost froze off. Water was 46-47 degrees.
All in all a perfect day of boating, aside of course from the heater being broken.
