I have an 07 LSV...it tops out at 34ish....I want to get a higher top end speed and a better hull shot....should I switch over to an ACME prop???

those two things contradict each other, you can either get a better hole shot, with say an OJ XMP Edge prop, or higher top end speed with a lesser pitched prop. but not both, physics says so

Ok , lets start here. Engine rpm wot. Verify boat speed with a gps. What is the position of the wake plate. How many people in the boat . How much ballast are you using when trying to get top speed. Then decide what prop pitch/cup and diameter to use. Also how many blades . I inquired to oj props and acme and chose acme for my boat and it is great. I have a oj 13.7 x 17.5 4 blade that came with the boat and it is now my spare and low altitude prop, which would have to be 2800 ' or lower . It also depends on the load. Lots of variables in place for what you need . My 2 cents , Jim.
