Kenwood wired Remote

My wired remote is the TSC-55 does anyone know if the newer KCA-RC50MR will work instead. Are the two compatible?

I just replaced mine in my boat and it worked exactly the same. There should be four wires, a black one a red one a blue one and a yellow one (if i remember right).
