I thought I would share my experience since I never found a good thread to help.
I was having trouble with my speedo and perfect pass last season. I was fairly settled that I would need to replace my speedo sensor and maybe the cable to and fro to get back running this season. Two weeks ago I pulled my Airmar sensor. I found a failing connection at the Deutch DTM connector at the end of the sensor. This made everything make sense. I ordered a new DTM 6 way connector with solid nickel pins from Batts Racing. I made up all new connections, snaped them into the DTM connector and hooked it up. Spun the wheel in the garage and get readings on the speedo and PP. I am $12 into the fix and have avoided the estimated $200 plus I thought I might be faced with.
