New boat lift. Need dimensions for lift boards

Is there a correct width to put boards apart on a boat lift? I have a 2000 Moomba Outback.

Any help appreciated.

I measured the width of the bunks on the trailer and set the bunks on my lift. It worked out perfect for the bunks to be between two of the strakes. BTW, mine measured 31" in the front and 34" in the back.
