I am leaning toward getting a set for my rig, Boatbuckle (http://www.immioutdoors.com/boatbuckle/transom/products_transom_g2.htm). I have searched and have not found the answer I was looking for.
My 02 BM trailer the transom eyes are foward inside the trailer and not the type you can bolt something to them. More of a welded rod looped to make the eye.
Question is for those that have installed them on a similar trailer, which they are going to be more or less be under the boat. Once you drilled a hole through the trailer tubing on the back, did you bolt them directly the trailer frame OR did you install the optional bracket which would seem to give more of a tilt backwards? Any pictures on this type of setup?
