I replaced all the dash lights with LED's from superbrightleds.com
I used the WLED-x6 LED blue. It was pretty easy. You just have to reach up under the dash and remove the black bulb holder, and swap the bulbs. The big ones take 2 bulbs the small ones only 1.

Chilly - So this is a direct swap? No modification required? Just buy the bulb, remove the old, and replace? This I can do! Pretty nice. Thanks. - Deerfield

That looks really cool and shouldn't be too hard to do. How many gauges were you able to change out and does this include PP guage? My boat is buried in snow so theres no way to look yet ,but would be definetely interested when it warms up,if it ever does.

Looks like you have the gage all the way out to put these in. I orderd 10 WLED-x6 amber cause all my other Leds are amber. When i got under dash it look like you have to unscrew the nuts on the bracket OR MAYBE NOT.

Very cool indeed, I'm definately going to do the blue on my gauges, thanks for the idea/part number!

The part number for superbrightleds.com is WLED-x6 LED. I was able to do all the gauges except PP and our depth finder because it was already built in. I did take out one of the gauges because originally I was going to rearrange them, but that involved cutting wires and splicing them back together so I decided against it. I did the rest by just using a pair of tiny pliers the grab the back of the bulb housing. Its just a twist and pull. You have to be a contortionist to get to them but it can be done.

I did add some other accent lights to replace the courtesy lights in the rear. I also added two lights up front and two lights over the speakers in the rear. I'll try to get some better pictures later

Chillyx - Very nice. I have been wanting to add blue LEDs to my interior, but was actually hesistating due to the dash light colors. My 06 Mobius LSV has no interior lights. I plan to add some to the the cup holders, below the dash and if I get the nerve to drill holes into the fiberglasss around the interior. Any recommendations on what products to by from superbrightleds.com?

To answer a few questions here are the other two lights I used to do the accent lighting on the boat.

I used the round light to replace the courtesy lights in the back and I also add two toward the front of the bow as courtesy lights up front.

I used the black ones to shine down above the speakers and cup holders in the back. I wired them all into the courtesy light switch. They were super easy to install. On the interior I removed the courtesy lights in the back and just fit the round ones over the old hole. The power cord comes straight out of the middle of the back, and it already has 3m sticky adhesive attached. On the front ones I just used a counter sink bit to make the dimple in the fiberglass, maybe and 1/8 in diameter, then I took a regular drill bit that was just smaller than the dimple and drilled a tiny little hole. the cord is very thin and will fit in a tiny hole. The lights above the speakers I just fished the wire up behind the side cushions and used 2 sided tape to adhere to the back of the cushion. Very easy, no drilling. PM me if you have any specific questions

or having that hit of Strawberry Fields mescaline makes me think I had that conversation with Stacy.

I could very well have been discussing world affairs with an ironing board.

that could explain the photo of a full moon rapped in saran wrap

So the lights ... is it worth the money and time to install?

That sounds great! I think I'm going to do it also. Does anyone know about any laws about what color lights you can have coming from the boat? I would think that it doesn't matter, but I would like to know before hand.

Im thinking of installing some interior LED's but Im wondering how they are wired? I have two batteries in my 03 LSV with a battery separator. Do I just run the wires to my auxiliary battery?

Did you try and pull the gauge all the way out of the dash and find it that way? I had to do a few of mine that way.

I realize this thread is getting a bit old but I thought I'd post some pics after I installed my new courtesy/dash lights. Note that cameras and I do not get along so the photos are dead set ordinary. Thanks for posting this Chilly, the evening outings will have a great mood now with the increased lighting.

Aaroncat, how did you do the cup holders? What did you use and stuff like that?

For the cup holders I used these (http://www.oznium.com/prewired-superflux). These were on another thread here but I can't find it right now. If I do manage to find it I will link you to it.

They come rigged with a resistor already inline so that they can be wired up to 12V DC (i.e. the main battery) without having to do anything special. I just T'd into the courtesy lights using these (http://www.thechandleryonline.com/assets/product_images/113_A42230615.jpg) t-splice connectors that you can get at any auto parts or hardware store.

These particular LED's sit perfectly on top of the drain hole on my 2009 Outback V cup holders without having to actually fix them to anything. I just popped the wires down through the hole T'd them into the courtesy lights and was done.

The thread that I was referring to is here (https://forum.moomba.com/showthread.php?t=7567&highlight=flux&page=2). Theres a pretty good pic on the 2nd page by ian_ashton of the LED just sitting there in the cup holder.

I have been trying to locate LED lighting for the gauges and interior lights for Mobius LSV and I have searched on various websites and cant find the correct lights. If anyone has installed LED lighting and could give me information where to find the right part numbers and websites.
Thanks
