This might be a silly question... but, how much lateral flex should the tower on a 08 LSV have? It is rock solid front to rear but it wiggles more than I think it should laterally. Just riding down the lake it shakes. Some of the other towers I have been around seem to be fairly solid. They are on smaller and narrower boats. The screws on my boat are snug but not tight. I can spin the heads with a screwdriver and the locknut underneath turns with it. Is the tower designed to have this flex in it as a shock absorber to minimize stress on the mounting points? I know there are some knowledgeable members here and I hope they can help. Thanks, oh the boat has 49 hrs on it if that helps and never a tuber or more than one boarder at a time.

snug the screws and bolts down pretty tight.
You'll have a little sway in it..
pretty common though. I ride with and 08 Xstar and an 07 X30 and they both sway some.. and the X30 has tower braces and the XStar is about to gt them!
