tower speakers

My tower speakers seem to have a loose ground? They work when driving around but when you tow from the tower they cut in and out. Can someone give me some advice on where to check for loose wires or whatever is causing this? I have a 2008 mobius lsv with the upgraded stereo package. Thanks for any help.

I would take your cans off and check the internal speaker wire connections. Check your connections at the cans. Check your connections at the hull. And check them again at your head unit.

I found that when the dealer removed the batteries to charge them for the test run, they did not get some of the wires tight that go to the amp. They would lose contact and the amp would cut out and I thought the tower speakers were cutting out. I tightened everything and so far so good.
