For some reason, I cannot find any info about shoal creek campground reservations. It's like it doesn't exist anymore.
e

I called reserve amerca 2 weeks ago about that and the girl on the phone could not find it eather--very strange.

We won't be able to make that weekend. We're getting married in South Carolina. We were really looking forward to it too.

Conratulations to Chris & Krista (if memory serves). It would have been great to see you guys again but you are certainly excused.

This date is really early. I still think I'd be up for it though. Might have to shorten the plans to 3 days and 2 nights though.

Congrats chillyx

This june 6th is early-my daughter gets done with with school on the 3rd.

I may not make this one as my inlaws family reunion is the 19th.

Ed, check out Old federal campground. They have a section that they call primitive camping-sites are just like what we had at schoal creek. This is were we stayed the other 2 times at Lanier. I will get on the map later and tell ya what are the better sites, some had a cliff to the water and some had beach access.

spots 14,15,16 were good for the primitive side

I think each site had two spaces. I dropped the trailer in one of them and locked it up and parked the truck in the other one. Our sites were also close to the closed boat ramp so there was additional parking available about 4 sites down but we didn't need it.

could you park your boat trailer at the campsite?

Ed, those campsites i listed had drivethru parking-We never unhooked the trailer for the trip--old federal campground

I was talking about Shoal Creek. Guess it doesn't matter if it's gone.
