Coming from no cruise, this system is basic, easy to use, and it works for most everything. Congrats on the new boat.

Jikemones,
Yes we did, from Bell Marine.
Its my dad who bought it he just has me do the forum stuff we are on a forum for about each vehicle we own :P
And i think you may be on our lake? Is your boat white? We saw one the end of last fall when we were planning on getting a LSV and my dad just had to have it cause it was so massive and we will never need to buy a bigger boat pretty much.

And thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Awesome, Kevin and his staff are great. I had a Supra Launch 21 and traded last fall for the 2008 GG XLV. We only had it in the water for a couple days last fall, they are awesome boats. Congrats.

congrats!!!!!!! An '09? I love you already.

You will be most impressed by the '09's. Much better build and fit.

Technology in these newer boats makes boating a breeze.

One modification, I did to my '09 was to put a boat Buddy on the trailer.

Oh, the new coolers work really well. Forget about having to take another aboard.

As Brian Raymond said (he was in charge of building your boat), welcome to the family :)

Best regards

Our House is over by "the hole" or the deep part where everybody parks and swims :P
And i will talk to my dad i think he was looking for a 5000lbs or 6000lbs lift. but thanks anyways.

I know where the hole is, which house is yours? Or what was your old boat? We ride alot along the west shoreline and use the hole to do double-ups. (it's nice and deep so the boat displaces alot of water and makes the wake bigger) My old boat was a blue and yellow Supra Launch.

Our house is a yellow ranch style thats sits on a corner lot of a channel and the lake.
And our old boat is a 1990 Ski nautique 196 Red and Black...BTW its for sale if you know anyone looking for one its pretty much spotless.
I also think kevin showed us your boat right after you traded it in.

oh yes - You will be most happy to have PP!

Not sure if any of the earlier years had this function, but with the '09 PP, the water temp is constantly displayed while the unit is turned on.

Don't have to run thru a bunch of menus to get to temp like I did in my '03.

Did I mention I love '09 boats?

Thats Awsome!
Me nor my dad have ever used it so it should be quite fun to play with
And im glad your so happy with your '09 makes me want summmmeerrrrrr!

what size ballast bags does the '09 GG model now come with?

'09 sizes are different from '08's (at least with the OBV)

im not sure actually. does the 09 GG have the fast ballast system too?
i think they forgot to send me the pics :(

When I bought my 07 GG i was supposed to get the 325 horse and no PP. When it arrived from the factory it had the upgraded 340 Cat and perfect pass. We had already finalized the sale and loan so I lucked out and got the upgraded options at no additional charge.

I think it has the faster ballast...I would HOPE it has the faster ballast.

You'll be able to tell immediately when you get the boat. Look for (3) 2" round bronze intake fittings on the bottom of the hull near the paddle wheel.

Call your dealer and add a photo of those fittings to your list of photos... and tell him to hurry the heck up.

You got people who wanna see.

i am going to attempt to stop by the dealer tommorow on our way to the lake, so i may take some pictures my self....except my camera got stolen :x so i will have to use my old camera :-(

Sorry, been up north sleddin. Love the boat love the color. On this whole ballast thing, you have the GG edition which is like having the Ford XLT or Dodge SLT it should have the best of everthing and a little more bling than the usual :)

Very Nice!!

Wow that puppy is really loaded. Even a bow cushion. No wonder your so excited, I would be too.

e

I think the XLV has the playpen up front, which is what I have in my Mobius V. I love it! I will try to never own a boat without the playpen again. Just to think before I bought my V I was very aprehensive about the playpen. Now I just think its the best thing since sliced bread.

By the way Tahoe that is one fantastic looking boat! Man that thing looks MASSIVE!

Thanks everybody! =)
But yes it is the playpen bow. My dad was really not into it until he got in the boat and walked around for a little while. The only people that will really use the bow on our boat are my friends who are 16-18 yrs old and mostly girls would want to be up in the bow, (the guys want to watch the action behind the boat) so they would rather be able to just lay up there than it to be open.
