I would like to get some of the material that is used on the swim platform to put on the gunwales for where my tower arms fold down and to put across the stern for some protection from boards marking it up.

thanks

Well Daze here's just a thought. Why not competely custom and order yourself a new Seadek platform cover and get them to make you up some tric gunwale protectors to match?

I've been thinking about doing that.

Daze, I'll tell you I find his stuff fairly reasonable in price, especially considering the quality and the tricked out look.

Speaking of the Tampa Jam-i stopped in and talked with the dealer last week and he said he would like to do another one this summer if he can. I will post more info later.

daze,
i think we have the same color as you. we used blue/white gator grip for the swim deck and gunwale step. my custom amateur cutting is not a good as seadec, but it works. i don't fall as often stepping up for a board. i don't have a pic specific of the gunwale, but this is close. i will try and get out to get a shot.

yearround,

did you remove the old "non-skid" and replace it with the gator grip, or did you just apply the gator grip over the old material from the Moomba?

Thanks,

The Flas

pulled the old black stuff off. used lots of different things to get the adhesive off, some else had said to use carb leaner, i didn't have that to try. used goof off, adhesive remover, etc.

I found pulling it off in pcs and cutting the chunks off seemed to help the peeling off process. But again it was like 40 degrees when I did mine outside
