**Vdrive noise**

OK I own a 08 xlv and I smacked the trailer with my prop last year no big thing it was small all I had to do was get the prop fixed and polished. Now that its pollished though the prop makes a funny noise and I just want to know if thats something other people are haveing issues with or if the vdrive is going to $#!t

just a guess, but I bet you shaft is out of alignment.

Have a shop check your alignment or if you are good with tools, look in your manual about engine/shaft alignment... Either that or your shaft might be slightly bent...

One of my friends used to work for a dealer and he says that when you polish a prop it will make noise in the water cause its so smooth ??? dont really feel like having my dealer look at it they cant even change the oil correctly

It is possible that the prop is noisier now..
