Does anybody know where I can get some waterproof connectors like the ones used to connect the solenoids for the ballast valves?

It would also be useful to find some like are used to attach the speaker wire to the head unit.

Watertight connectors are used for irrigation systems for the valving so you may try Lowes or Home Depot.
