gas cap

The other day when fueling my 07 lsv, i found that the screw that holds the chain to my gas cap had come off. then on Friday when getting gas, I left my gas cap on the fender of the trailer.. so now it is gone.. I have 2 questions:

1 - That little screw is now probably in my gas tank.. is this a problem?

2 - Where can I find a replacement gas cap.. Is this a standard part? or a Moomba specific item?

It's probably a standard part. My gas through hull fill thingy is a perko part.

The screw fell out of mine about 3 years ago and I figure that maybe one winter I will find it in the fuel filter! When I change them I always shake it to see if the screw has made it out of the tank yet. It should not hurt anything, either the tank strainer (if there is one) or the fuel filter should catch it. Mine has been riding around in there for 3 and a half seasons. I just replaced it with a stainless one and wrote it off.
