Cutting up the kick panel

I was wondering if anybody has a phone number or know's if I cut out my driver side kick panel/foot rest will it void my hull warranty on a 2007 LSV?

Razzman cut his out and I believe he checked with his dealer and was not an issue. it is not structural..

So my question to add to this one is, if I do this as well for my sub do you build the sub box around the sub on back or just put some kind of wrap or cover on it?

I'm going to cut out a notch, Then build a box to fill the cutout, And finish it off with a false wall.
