i have seen the website for that system for quick winterization that uses those.. looks like a cool setup..

no esperience with them.. curious if they are fail safe as far as staying closed..

Jester,

Was wondering the same thing. The top ones look like replacements for the engine block plugs and the bottom ones for the v-drive plugs.

If so, they don't take very long at all to remove so I think I will stick with the old fashion way, especially since it's a once a year job.

I have not winterized yet so i don't konw how things will be, but, in the past with my I/O, i have had junk in the holes after i removed the plugs that nearly stopped water drainage. i would have to poke and prod to get things draining.

i think i agree with cab. it is once a year (not at all if i get my garage insulated and thermo heat for low temp)
