Dont have the answer to your question, Where do you do you're boating in Seattle area. We ordered a 2004 Outback and exspect it at the end of Febuary. Have done most of our boating on lake Wash.

lpfeil, we are over in Poulsbo so Liberty Bay is our main watering hole but we take numerious trips to our local lake (Kitsap Lake) and a couple trips to Cresent Bar on the Columbia. If you have not been there or dont know of it look it up its a great place to show off your boat--- www.selectrentals .com

At least one definition is reference to a 'Mobius Strip', a kind of optical illusion, which looks like a twisted oval ribbon. If you put a pen on it and trace all the way around, when you get back to where you think you should match up to your starting point you are actually on the opposite side of the ribbon. Kind of like the three pronged rivet, or the elaborate building with lots of stair cases where the top of one stair seems to lead you to a level lower than you started..

Kind of fitting considering waakeboarders twist and turn...

Any others??

Anyone else notice that the board is behaving strangely with respect to logging in?

Anyhow - my best guess is it is related to 'Mobius Strip' which looks like a ribbon that is formed by twisting a strip a half or full twist ? and then attaching the ends.

Kind of fitting for a wakeboard boat where boarders are doing twists?

It might also be named after a specific wakeboard trick.

You can take your pick and decide which one Moomba was shooting for, the wakeboard definition or the official dictionary version

Mobius: Take a backside, frontside, air roll or a crow, add 360 or 540 degrees rotation for the general picture. Jeremy Kovak is the mobuis king. The handle pass makes this trick quite difficult

Mobius - German mathematician responsible for the Mobius strip (1790-1868)
