Props man....

You look good out there... quick question.. how fast are you riding and how far back? how much ballast? Looks like XLV your riding behind?

09-25-2008, 07:06 PM
Yeah its an XLV stock ballast(1950lbs) , But depending on how many people are in the boat anywhere between 24-25mph, and thats at 80ft back.

Nice boat Chef, looks familar (I thought you had an 08 GG edition), a friends boat perhaps? That is some serious air you were getting, and some nice tricks. Do you compete? Anyways the video was great! We aren't as good as you, but I ride at about 22.5 and 65-70 feet back, 80 is far!

btw, awesome video. I just learned to WB skiied all my life .

did you grow up there, my wife went to colon HS. class of 96

09-29-2008, 10:12 AM
No, I grew up on the south side of Chicago, I've been in Colon for 3 years.

She grew up on long lake, maybe will bring the moomba out next summer, looks like palmer is pretty flat most of the time. our lake in ny is 22 mile long 1.5 mile wide and 200 ft deep so it can get choppy.
