View Full Version : Warrantee Question
To keep my warrantee valid, does all maintenance have to be done by a "certified" dealer? Or can I change my own oil for example? Or can I have someone else change my oil other than the dealer? How about winterizing it?
Thanks,
Garn

Garn - It will take some reading of the warrantee fine print but be interesting to see how others respond to your four questions. My approach to warrantee: Have all of the maintenance work, including winterizing and summerizing, done by the dealer from which I bought my '07 Outback. This way the service records are at one location and hopefully there will never be a question about who did what when. When the three year warrantee period ends, I will do the maintenance work myself. - Deerfield
