Anyone have any info on the max weight the swim platform on an Outback is rated for?

I've tested mine at about 300 lbs. but I'd like to know if that's more than it should take.

I am not sure about your boat, but I just purchased a 2001 mobius v and the platform does not feel like it will hold as much weight as our Gekko gts20. The Gekko's platform was part of the boat, but the moomba's is attached with two pins and seems a little weaker. I am having problems with the rubber on the platform tearing. I usually put my wakeboard on while standing or sitting on the platform(tight bindings) and the fins dig in. I wonder if they make a teak platform.

Yeah the coating on my platform is totally shredded up after only 1 season, I was wanting to replace the platform and making it out of a heavier material to add a little ballast.

We have a 2000 Outback L/S with balast and Cage. We put the teak deck option on for fear the rubber would shread. The teak really looks great, I have it marine varnished and is very durable.
