Broken Mirror Bracket

The factory mirror bracket that mounts to the tower yesterday simply broke in half. Riding along on the water and suddenly the broken section with mirror still attached dropped and bounced on the deck in front of the helm. No damage to the fiberglass. Boat is an '07 and under warranty. Will let you know how the dealer replaces the broken bracket.

The same thing happened on our 2005 Moomba Mobius. The mirror arm was made of inferior metal. I replaced it with one from a different manufacturer and have had no problems since.

Pics of the broken bracket w/ rear view mirror attached and how it looked when intact mounted to tower. Am working with dealer to replace under warranty.

I have the same mirror and was told by my dealer that it was made by Roswell for SC. I would contact Roswell and see if they'll replace it with the new design one.
