Moombadaze - Nicely done. Always enjoy seeing the people, boats, and activities from a jamboree in another part of the country. Makes me nervous lookin' at Ed's boat. Seems to be tempting fate, poised to take on water and rapidly sink to the lake bottom. Hope you all had a lot of fun. Thanks. - Deerfield

This is where Ed was nice enough to show us how to wakesurf. He also was giving away beer, and it was the "good stuff". Thanks Ed for loading down your boat with all of that water and making a nice wake. Mary and I were very happy to learn because no one else is doing it around here. I would have tried getting up like I was surfing in the ocean.
Also thanks for all of your hard work making the Jamboree great, the raffle prizes were awesome.

Maxpower-sorry i missed you, hope to see you in land o lakes someday.

Deerfield, you should have seen Ed's boat when i was sitting in the rear corner, when his brother inlaw was surfing water would actually come over the rear corner

SO,
It looks like Blue is the NEW WHITE in boats... Love all the blue Moombas..
Is there a Maliboo sneaking in the group at the dock photos?

Looks like fun.. wish Tampa wasn't 10 hrs from Mississippi..

We had a great time at both jams this year. We feel every lucky to have made the "new" friends we did.

Ed, Tammy, the Daze family, and the Kane family. We will miss you all and look forward to the next time we get together. You guys are great.

Stacy, a special thanks for the invite Friday night. We had a blast and feel honored to be invited.

Z, good to finally meet you. We both have a shared uneasiness about Ed's boat when weighted for surfing.

Can't wait for '09 (Stacy, we'll be in the 3's then, LOL)

Thanks for taking all those! May have only been 10 boats tied, a few floating, but there were a lot of people and everyone had fun.
Thanks again!

Here I go again, didn't read all the pages before replying. Sorry!

04Outback,

I was wondering if anyone would notice the Maliboo! Blue is pretty popular among this group followed by black. I think there were 3 black ones there.
You'll have to come to the next one to mix up the color a little!

Ragdog and Ragdog's Girl,

It was great to meet you guys at the Jam. Really glad your puppy won that board!
Sorry we didn't really get to say good-bye. Thanks for a great day Sunday with yummy lunch.
Girl, keep driving that boat and it gets easier! Also, thanks for your flotation tips! :)
You guys must come to the Jam in Altlanta!

Take care,
Kaneboats Gang

Stacy it was a Great Jamboree!!!! My whole family had a blast!!! It was great finally putting a face on people we only knew from the boards. YES BLUE ROCKS!!!!! Ok black was a close second!!! And I have never in my life seen so many inboard ski boats on one Lake!!!

PS Stacy in one of the picture where you stated you got in trouble if you notice I am in one of those pictures, remember I asked you to take my picture I just happened to turn away from you before you took the shot. But yeah that is the back of my head, not quite sure what I was looking at either!

Slacker, that was Ed G's Outback looking like it is fixin to sink! I guess that is what happens when a skier takes up wakesurfing.

Hey! I am not junior anymore!!

I feel like I won an academy award I have so many people to thank. My twin boys (8) haven't really been able to wakeboard but thanks to Mike (zegm) and family they both learned to ski. Then they used Stacy's kneeboards on Sun. and learned to do that too. Thanks so much guys! My two older girls (14 & 10) both learned to wakesurf too. I got many more chances to get that surfing thing down and there's even proof in the pictures. Thanks Ed and TeacherT and Stacy & Laurie. It was so cool to hang out with everybody. It was a very relaxing weekend with lots to do, great prizes, good food and lots of fun. Don, Paul, Mary, Mike, Rhonda, it was great to meet all of you. See you next year! I hope we get to go to at least Atlanta, Orlando and Tampa. And look out Butta if there's a Jam over your way.
