I have an 05 Outback and want to upgarde to a bigger wakeboard boat. I dont want to raise my monthly payments to much but I understand it will happen. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is an outback V going to be good enough to wake board or do I need to go up to an lsv? Any help would be great

We went from an 04 Outback to an 06 LSV this year. Unbelievable difference in the wake. We will probably buy a new LSV this winter.

I also went from an 05 Outback to an 07 LSV, there's no comparrison between the two. If you are going to spend the money to upgrade, go ahead and get the LSV. It's a buyers market right now and there's some good deals out there if you look.

Have to say if you want a big wake... get the XLV! I have an 07 LSV, but an XLV will give you an even bigger wake. With the market being a buyers market.. I would get the bigger boat..

But it also depends.. I have the LSV and my kids are all under 10.... I figure when they get to be about 13 and 14 I will get a bigger boat since then all thier friends will want to come and they will be bigger.

anyhow that is my 2 cents worth... oh.. but heck yeah.. if you can get a supra 24 SSV.. that would be the bomb!! LOL

The price difference between the Outback V and the LSV is $3500.

The only reason I got the OBV was because all the LSV's in my area were fully loaded and out of my price range. The color combos were really tacky too. I did not have the luxury to order one custom for myself so the OBV is doing a good job so far.

DG there was just an 08 LSV that had real minor damage for sale in TO. Was asking 22K, that would have been and unbelievable deal.

Drewdwn, just keep your eyes open. I see LSV's all the time for mid to upper 20's. One and two year old ones with low low hours for early 30's.

Oh man, I would have been all over that! The deals always show up after the fact.

I paid 43,900 for my OBV.

Ouch!! You need to move, just kidding.

Tell me about it.

I have lived in Fountain Hills, Arizona and Valencia, California in the past but I could not legally stay longer than 6months because I am a Canadian citizen.

Life was so good it made me want to become an illegal immagrant.

that busted LSV was on Ebay...keel cracked, drive train busted...
08 with 14 hours!
BAD LUCK! It will be a good deal for someone who wants a fixer upper.. I could not be happy knowing it had had that much damage...

Drewdn,
I think if you are patient and are willing to drive 6-8 hours, you can find what you want in your price range. There will be some great deals on OB V;s and LSV's soon!
There is a BU dealer in Ohio that has tons of inventory on Ebay now that is CHEAP! Vrides for 39 and 42K~

drewdn,

we bought an new OBV 07 at the end of last year 33K, ballast I wake palte and tower. If you ski at all the obv with the plate lowers the wake pretty well and up provides a good wakeboard wake if you get the ballast III probably much better.

depanding where you live , dealers should be willing to deal late in the season. my dealer in western NY has a new OBV 08 or under 36k ( sorry DG)
