So what is with the blocks between the boats. Don't like to tie up next to each other?

They are floating docks with canvas coverings.

If any of you other guys have pics and don't want to start a new thread put 'em here. We really didn't have alot of pics that weren't family shots.

Moomba and Ed - Thanks for the pics. Nice to see what happens at jamborees. The Chicago event is coming up in two weekends. Will return the favor with pics from our event. Sponsor dealer is Ultimate Wake Watersports. Sled's gonna show me how to wakesurf. Ya, baby! - Deerfield

Rugburn - Are you coming down from Madison for the Chicago jamboree? Couldn't be more than a two hour drive. - Stuart

I saw the "Moombamobile" when it pulled in behind me at the campground. Roo on the hood and graphics down the sides. It was very cool. Got me a T-shirt too. Here's a couple pics we had. It was in the plans to raft up and hang out but the day got away when lunch took 2 hrs. for some reason. Most of the pics are from boats tied up at the Aqualand Marina where we all met up.

The first one is the morning of the Jamboree at Shoal Creek Campground before anyone was up. The second one is Ed and others cooling off before lunch. The third one is a view of the docks at Aqualand right after the poker run started.

Ed, next year, jamboree or not we need to go up on a wednesday and stay till sunday. there is so much more lake to see. some on the island's have the softest sand--no mud!. it would take all day to get to the other (northend) of the lake and back. Some of the house's are just insane up on the north end. that cocktail cove is just a nut house-not my kind of hang out.

Ragdog and his girlfriend stopped by last night so we showed him our pics we have--im sure that they will go next year.

ill be seeing ragdog this sunday hopefully and will ask him about the pad. i would not mind getting a portion of the pad to use on the transom right above the swim platform for mine if possible

Stacy, I have a couple pieces of gray/white left over. That might work for you. What size do you need?

moombadaze

Pat, i was hopeing to cover the transom from end to end about 3 inch's high, do you think the black-what Ed has or what you have would look better? i kinda think black.

I'll be sure to bring what I have so you can see. Not sure exactly how big the pieces are, but the black probably would look better.

We booked a Hotel room at the Sleep Inn for Thursday,Friday and Saturday. We might see you Thursday if we can't get our boat into the Land o Lakes dealer, since Stacy was kind enough to offer us your yard. We have an 11 year old boy and an 8 year old girl who love to meet new kids! Zachary can wakeboard, slalom and kneeboard. Eliza can kneeboard and ski on pairs. And I here that our boats are sisters! So we are looking forward to meeting your family and Kaneboats too! :D

Zegm, no problem re: the boat. Our daughter is 9 and will be thrilled to meet more kids. She had so much fun with the "Kaneboat" kids up in GA. Pat & "Mrs.Kane" are really fun too!

Yes we are excited about meeting Pat and MrsKane too! They live close to us and we hope to get together with them some day up here soon too. MrsZ and I are so happy to meet Moomba boat owners with kids like ours! :)

Now if we can just get Sled and his wife to move south!!!! You might want to send Sled a post as his wife is on the verge of joining the boards too! They have 3 little ones also. I think she just needs a little nudge (OK last I heard she is trying to determine her call sign)!

You just have to get Sled, his Sledmaster (or is it Sledmistress) and the Sledettes or Sledtykes to come down here in Oct. when it is warm, sunny and fun -- while it's raining on the Halloween festivities up there. That will seal the deal.

My Chicagoland Halloweens were drenched every year. Or, kids wore coats over costumes. I get down here and people are still skiing, boarding and beaching through Oct. It sealed the deal for me. Here's to Xmas Eve pool parties!!!

Mrs Daze, who's is that Moomba with the REALLY REALLY tall bimini? It looks like a tall guy could walk right under that without having to hunch over!

That would be the Kaneboat family's boat. Our's is the other blue one (same color as yours from what I hear).

My aftermarket tower narrows down considerably at the top. I was looking at tower biminis and couldn't justfy paying $800-1000 for a dinky thing that would fit under the tower where I could hit my head on it. So I recycled the old bimini to go over the top. I removed the center bow and use the tower for that part instead. It doesn't look that great but I haven't knocked my head against it and it throws a lot of shade compared to the smaller ones. Price was right too.
