Here is a simple one. What size and pitch do you recommend and what are the advantages of using this vs. a normal prop. I have a 2003 LSV 750lb port side 400lb up front with a 350 that I can throw where needed. But, if I need more weight I have 2 really big cousins that I can invite.

A friend of mine let me barrow a custom made ACME prop. It is a 14.5 x 14.5. We tells me that it has a wicked pull. He used it for wakeboarding and wakebording only.

Okay, I worry that might be too big for my trailer. Does the rotation of the prop mess with the wake very much also? It seems the wake on my boat is naturally better on the driver side with much less ballast.

I don't have enough clearance on my trailer for anything past 13.5. I talked to ACME marine and they suggested a 13.5 x 14.25 with a .150 cup. Just in case anyone was wondering.

ACME 14x14 is a very good choice!

I have an 05 LSV and run the OJ466 14.25 x 14. Huge improvement in holeshot vs stock and no clearance issues with the trailer.

I have the same prop and love it also!

It does vibrate a little but the OJ version of the 14x14 is known for that.

I have the same prop as Ed G on the Outback DD as well. I'd like to get a little more holeshot on mine as it seems a little sluggish with alot of weight. I'm thinking about switching to the Acme 13X12 or 13X11.5....
