Get it but make sure it has a Gravity III ballast and hydraulic wakeplate as a bare minimum.

If I had the time to order a boat from the factory I would not have chosen the Outback V. The LSV is the best bang for the buck in my opinion.

I have to say i love my Outback V. It is a great size for the friends to come out and play but not too big to have everyone and their dog in the boat. I ike to keep no more then 8 people in a boat at a time. Anything past that is too many.

Make your dealer prove the oil filter will come off. Or take it in to them for the first oil change.

We have an 06 LSV and love it. Not a single complaint. Tons of room. There is also an 07 and an 08 at the place we have it docked and they love them as well. The 08 is yellow and black. Sweet color combo. Post some pics when you get it!

Im also thinking about getting an 08 LSV soon. Anyone know the changes in 2009? Also, dealer is quoting 42k for 2008 LSV. Im sure theyll come off that price, theyre advertising a huge clearance sale.

Actually if the boat has decent options 42 isn't that bad of a price

Yeah 42k is not bad for an LSV with some options!!!!
We paid about 40k for our LS Loaded!!!!
But everyone knows the best bang for the Buck is an LS!!!!
You can't take nobody through a Slalom course in one of those backward engined LSV!!!
