I am wondering if a 750lb bag will fit in the left rear locker.

I would also like to upgrade the center bag with more weight.

Opinions?

Measure your compartment and see if these fit. These are the same length as what you have stock but a little bulkier.. I think the 750's are too long to fit in the OB V, but I know some folks hav put them in ...

Thanks 04OUTBACK.

I am scared to buy a bag that fits too well because that could bow the engine compartment board.

I will measure the compartment this week but was hoping for real life experience from members.

I have the bags that 04Outback referenced and they fit great. They even leave a tiny bit of room on top and in front of the bags. With that much weight in the back, you do need to balance it somehow up front. Otherwise you're in a 70/30 kind of split. You want more of a 60/40 or even 50/50. I throw another bag on top of the ski locker that adds another 450. I think I need even more than that up front to balance it out even more. I don't think you can go any bigger with the bag in the locker. It already takes up the entire space.

I wouldn't be too worried about upgrading your ballast yet, work on your basics, line tension, edging, jumping wake to wake...then add ballast. Adding ballast now is going to hinder your progress and add an unnecessary amount to your gas bill. You wouldn't believe the amount of gas my boat burns with all the ballast in it.

I am adding more weight for surfing, not wakeboarding.

I dont fill up my ballasts when I do wakeboarding. I am still a newb. :)

Do any of you know if the Straight Line Launch Pad Uber Pump will work with my OEM ballasts? My local shop has one in stock.

Also, how in the heck do I cap off the two connections that fill and empty the bag?
