Here's a few shots of the new pad installed i ordered from Seadek. Nothing but rave reviews for this product! Not only is it super cushy and awesome looking but it's about as non-slip as you can get! It's a breeze to install and i cannot see this thing coming off either as it has a super sticky glue backing.

NICE!
Is it precut/fitted for your platform or did you have to trim it any?
NICE!

It came as you see it, i didn't do anything but remove the old pads and glue, make sure of my alignment and install it. The hardest part was removing the old stuff and all the glue! One of the biggest benefits besides the cush of it is that it no longer gets hot and burns the feet! Just spent a week on the lake with temps in the mid ninties and it was never hot. :D

Razz, that looks great! I need to replace my stock pad, I noticed over the weekend that the black was coming off on people's feet and getting on the seats. Where did you purchase it from, and what's the price?

Ed--
What do you mean?

Does it chip off with wakeboards and skis laying and rubbing on it? If it is indeed real cushy, would that be a concern?

I guess I got lucky 'cause I've not had any problems with the stock pad. I will definitely consider the Seadeck though when and if it's time to replace the stock one. Looks nice!

How did you get the old black stuff off the deck?

Pulled up an edge and pulled real hard, and i do mean REAL hard! After getting it off i used WD-40 & Goof Off to remove the glue.

I'm happy with mine as i'm not a big fan of the roo. Now if i had an Outback maybe ... Nice job though Ed.

Ed as a fellow Outback owner I give it 2 thumbs up. Please keep us posted as it will make a nice upgrade.

Razz not to forget you, I like yours very much as well. Do you think that fins will cut into it and make it look bad after a while, or is it impervious to fins?

Ya know Sled i really can't say. The stuff is tough, but not as tuff as the stock stuff was as it's thicker and cushier. We boarded off of it last week and so far no marks but time will tell.

Razzman, how did you get it from Seadek? I just went to their websited and all I saw was stuff for Malibu. I didn't see any place to order anything for Moomba or anything else. Also, what did you pay for it?

Ed, what company makes the Roo platform? How would I order it and how much will it be?

Thanks,

Garn

Go to Seadeks site and scroll down a bit and you'll see the blog, click on it or click here: http://seadekblog.blogspot.com/ Scroll down a bit and you'll see an email address and number. The person you want to talk to is Chuck Yates.
