Over the long weekend the cover was on for a few days. When we took it off today to put the boat in the garage, we found these nice little stains where the seams were in the cover. They look like railroad tracks on the gunwales! Looks like they are from the threads. Have any of you had these and if so how do you get them off? I've tried everything from soap and water to Magic Erasers and it still won't come off. Thoughts or ideas? Here are a few pics, not sure how good they are.

I would try some rubbing compound.

What kind of rubbing compound? Anything specific you use?

I would try Nu Finish car wax. It is petroleum based and does wonders for gel coat issues. Also, it is non abrasive so you won't scratch any surface.
