does fuel consumption really matter? we are going to use our boats and have fun, it just may cost more.

my good news is that i filled up yesterday, put 34.2 gallons in, we had 8.8 hours on since the last filling, that is under 4 GPH! i hope i did not write the hours down wrong so i will have to keep checking this. I was hoping to be between 5 and 6gph, but 4 is fantastic!

has anyone else tracked their consumption?

I don't even want to know, it's a given and i've never woorried about it.

It is what it is. Worth tracking for performance, but I'm spending whatever it takes while I can still fog a mirror (or get up on any kind of board).

I took it nice and easy for the first 10hrs since she is brand new. I was just about empty so not bad.

I guess I'm lucky, our lake is fairly small and mostly just my family using the boat so 5 gallons a day gets me through. Thats a couple pulls for me and the kids and then a couple hours of tube time when the day trippers hit the lake. My gauge is always between 3/4 and half.
