Hey!
We have a '08 Mobius LSV with Assault 340 engine on which we have factory installed closed cooling system. However it is good for the sea water we had a severe case of engine failure at 17 hrs. What happened was that the cooling hose between reservoir and engine goes in between the engine belt and due to poor installation the hose was touching the belt and which had cut a nice hole in it. As a result all of the cooling fluid drained out leaving us stuck in the open sea!!! I would recommend that all of you that have this system check for the space between the belt and the hose just to be on the safe side.
If anyone had any similar experience please let me know.
