Ed don't be too quick to judge!
We here in the northwest have mastered float parties. With groups like this people like to bring kids and dogs. We have a great beach in a secluded cove that is perfect for such occasions!
Besides who doesn't love the smell of driftwood burning on the beach.

I guess, Float party is self explanatory. After a few hours of riding we then all get together and tie all of our boats together with bouncy balls; averaging between 6 to 15 wakeboard boats where we float in a cove or we anchor and are stationary on the water. Depending on each day and night whether it's an adult only party or family gathering. There are other times also, where we go to the beach and anchor and take our party to the sand. http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n227/setserr/6-24-08380.jpg http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n227/setserr/4th07103.jpg http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n227/setserr/5-30-07233.jpg http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n227/setserr/7-7-07036.jpg

See you all out there! I cant wait. I'll also have some really sweet hand made surfboards to demo if you hit me up. The wife family is starting a new wake surf co. and I'll have a pile of them.

OK, got a question about the pictures.

How do you beach the boats backwards and not screw up the running gear?

I understand you don't back it in under power, that is not the question, it seems like waves and roller would cause the gear to slam into the sand. Is there that much slope or is the sand that soft?

Great access to the boat, it just looks wierd, since all our shores are solid ROCK!

So that was the same question I asked before I backed in. There is a drop off. You go from your ankles to your hips in one step. Well ok it is not that bad but you get the point.
