Towing a Mobius LSV

Does anyone have experience towing with a BMW X5? Does it handle the load, are there any maintenance issues to address? Does the I6 handle the load or should I go with the V8 (I am defaulting to the V8). How is the sway?

I guess a lot depends on how far you tow, the terrain you'll tow on and how often. The LSV weighs in around 4150lbs with trailer, they don't specify single or tandem though. IMO that's definately pushing it for an I6 and maybe even the V8 depending on the motor specs. As for sway, there shouldn't be any with a proper setup especially a tandem trailer. The shorter the wheelbase the more squirly it's going to feel.

My biggest concern would be the brakes, are they up to the task of towing that kinda of weight and still stopping in acceptable distances in an emergency? Will the boat push the vehicle?
