15 seconds + guaranteed

pull the red box to the bottom
wait for everything to clear the middle
move the box up to the top
wait a second and move it to the left corner and wait
when you see the large square box bounce off the bottom right hand wall
bull the red box straight down the left wall to the bottom left hand corner
you will barely miss the long horizontal bar
wait
the horiz bar the the vert bar will cross you can move diagonally to the top right corner just after they cross
then you can pull it to the bottom right corner but you have to loop around the vert bar on the way down
that should get you into the 20 second range, that is all of the pattern I have memorized so far.
at that point I start following the long horiz bar around to make sure it does not hit me, and I try to dodge everything else, and then of course it speeds up!

Did I tell you I have OCD?

Some of you guys have way too much time on your hands.

This is for you:

The object of the game is to get everyone across the river.

http://freeweb.siol.net/danej/riverIQGame.swf

Click on link, and then click on the big blue circle. Use the rules below.

"Everybody has to cross the river".

The following rules apply:

· Only 2 persons on the raft at a time

· The father can not stay with any of the daughters, without their mother's presence

· The mother can not stay with any of the sons, without their father's presence

· The thief (striped shirt) can not stay with any family member, if the Policeman is not there.

· Only adults- the Father, the Mother and the Policeman- know how to operate the raft.

To start click on the big blue circle on the right. To move the people click on them. To move the raft click on the pole on the opposite side of the river.

I had trouble with it till my 4 y/o daughter helped me. So either she's really smart or . . .

That river game was alot of fun. I am soo happy you posted how to play or i would of been playing that for hours watching people get beat down. I am still working on the block game and hope to have more time at work tomorrow to play.

Anyone want to post more mind wasting games?

Kaneboats,
you are not allowed to post any more games on the board!!! I just lost about 2.5 hours of my life, but I got the entire family across the river!!!

Jesse,

I am very proud of you. Way to persevere! Like I said, the first time I needed help from a 4 y/o who was not constrained by my tunnel vision.

kaneboats,
thanks. It was the programmer in me that could not give up on that poor family. I can code nested arrays in my sleep, but I almost lost my sanity because of a small Japanese family, a cop and a burglar that found themselves on the wrong side of a river.

I think I just enjoyed watching the people getting their lights punched out when I'd mess up.
