Is it possible to add tower speakers later when my wallet recovers? lol

Also, where is a good place to order a bimini top?

Thanks!!!

Anything is possible. I did mine after a year that I had it. I did it over the winter months when it was too cold to go on the lake. Congrats and welcome to the family.

Great looking boat! love the colors

Check towerbiminis.com or greatlakesboattops.com I think Great lakes makes them for Moomba...
Or, your dealer...

The reason I am asking is because I dont really like the moomba bimini for the outback v.

I absolutely LOVE the fixed bimini's that fit on the Supra's.

Are there any aftermarket companies that make those for my boat?

deafgoose - Got yerself a great lookin' boat. Learn all you can about it. Take your time on launch and recovery. Get to know the limitations on controlling her at slow speed and reverse, especially in windy conditions. You're gonna have a lot of fun on the water. Congratulations and welcome to the Moomba family. - Deerfield

Yes I upgraded mine myself and it works great let me know when you want to do your tower speakers and if your interested in a box style. I've been thinking about making some to sell. By the way I like the color scheme you got there:!:

I had a custom ordered Bimini top that snaps to the back of the tower and extends over the windshield. It does not get in the way of the speakers, rope, all around light or cut down on head room. If you want i can post a pic after next weekend when i am back at the lake.

That would be fantastic!

welcome, nice boat like the colors. I have an 07 OBV and went with the Moomba Bimini and like it, Its pretty easy. as stated before Great lakes makes the covers for moomba. The Fixed top you are looking for is the z5 cargo bimini and does mount on moombas as well as supras. Check your dealer as well.

What stock depth finder did they use, I am looking into one.

Nice boat, great colors. Why the rental truck?

Won't the Z cargo bimini work on the Outback tower?

I don't own a truck. I drive a turbo Mazda RX8.

I rent a spot at my local marina for the season so I only need to rent a truck 2x per year.

I have no idea what a Z Cargo looks like but my Moomba dealer said only the collapsible bimini top will fit on my tower. :(

I really want to make the fixed bimini top's work!

Who needs a truck??!?! Driving a truck takes away from boat gas money. That is why you need to get friends with trucks so you can just use their ride to get the boat around. At least i am not the only crazy person that does not have a truck that bought a boat this year. Also i agree with the mirror and the tower. Make sure you take it off and check the screws when you put it back on. I mean all the screws not just the ones that attache it to the tower. The ones that attach the mirror to the arm are the one i am talking about. You don't want to lose it when your driving down the road.

Sorry the zcargo mounts to the towers on the lsv and bigger, they have a bigger diameter tower. I do like mine though, it is not fixed and cost about 550 from the dealer.

sorry about the bad info.

So how hard is it to back into your slip. I have a slip for the summer but never backed in just because of the wind. Does it take mad skills to deal with the wind and back in?

I am getting better each time I do it.

I barely have any wind at my marina so I am lucky. The current is very slow also. I am sure that makes a HUGE difference.
