I was taking a group of friends, 10 of us out yesterday to our local 'Party Island' and dinged my prop up real good. -Beyond repair I think. I have been using a 16 pitch Acme 537 prop - but am considering changing to a 15.5 pitch.
My question is - has anyone here used the 15.5 pitch? Will this give me much better hole shot than the 16 pitch with 2K plus ballast? WIll there be a noticable difference in top end/cruising speed? BTW - i have a 2000 Kamberra V-Drive.
What - in your opinion is hte best pitch to run with?
