Filled up at the gas dock the other day and started having a problem accelerating out of the hole. If i get on the throttle hard (pulling a boarder out of the water) the boat hesitates 2 or 3 times before coming up to speed. does this sound like water in the fuel? or a bad fuel filter. I can not find any any details on replacement filters. thanks, any info appreciated.

I had the same issue last year. Changed the filter and problem was solved.

I looked in the engine compartment and did not see and obvious fuel filter. Did i miss it or would it be under the rear storage compartment?

Not sure where it is on your LS, but if you follow the fuel line down into the hull, you will eventually find an inline 3/8" inlet filter usually against the bottom of the hull.

Here is the part number for the one I use: Hastings GF112

On my 2003 LS the fuel filter was mounted on the inside of the stringer, starboard side ,right under the blower motor.(hard to see).My local auto parts cross referenced it to a WIX #33482
