Guys,

Just cleaned the hull for the first time in a long while.

Found a lot of little stone chips, especially on the sides of the hull ranging from the windshield forward. Really frustrating. Don't let this happen to you.

Gonna try to find some mud flaps for my chevy truck.

Have an oversize cover. Gonna start using it during towing.

Will tie it down well to keep it from flapping and hurting gel coat.

I wouldn't recommend towing with cover. Over time even the small movement of the cover while towing can mar a gel coat even with it tied carefully. Mud flaps or flat metal plates welded or bolted to trailer in the right places are the best way to protect against rock chips.

OK. Didn't realize the cover flapping was that big a problem. Thanks for the heads-up!
