Does any one know is SC uses the exact measurements when it comes to the towers? The reason I am asking this is because I had a custom speaker light bar made for my 07' LSV. The mouting brackets are a 1/2" too wide. They sit at 32.5" apart. I needed them at 32" apart. I wanted to mount them on the oval pieces that connect the two top tubes together. I need to sell this, now that is does not fit. If it will fit other towers, I will post it on the classified section. I will post pictures. It has 4 polk Momo speakers, 5 lights at 77 watts a piece, black powder coated, and come with tube clamps. All the wires are internal except for the wires at one of the cans. Those are the speakers wires and light wires.

No I can't. I just got into a shouting match with my insurance agent. In a nut shell, I had my company vehicle insured under my personal policy and not a commercial policy. They were not going to cover the accident. I told him I am going to take my business elsewere. He just called me and told me it will be covered. Here are some pic of the van.

My insurance guy claimed that he did not know what I did for a living. I had told him several times what I did. He is the clincher. I even did work at his new office. I have had Farmers Insurance for years. This is the first time I had problems with this guy. I need a new agent.

Yeah, not worth the hassel. I on occasion have heated discussions with my guy as well. Glad to here they're gonna cover you though, with the bikes already not being be covered that be a crappy hit!

Tazz - just measured ours and it comes in at 33" on center. Sorry to read about the van - that totally sucks. Glad the ins. agent is paying up but I agree it's definitely time for a change. Hang in there man, it's almost summer and good times are around the corner!

Tazz,

Can't you just elongate the holes on each bracket a 1/4" to the inside?

Yes I could. The other problem was that I purchased 6 1/4" polk momo speakers for the tower. He had welded the smaller cans on there. I could only fit the 5 1/2" speakers. When I told him about the problem, he did not hesitate to make me another custom bar. I get it today. If you know of anyone that might be interested in this, just let me know.
