raw water strainer arrow direction??

Hi all,

I was looking at my raw water strainer the other day, from sherwood pumps on my 03 lsv. and the arrow on it points towards the inflow. Should the flow of water not match the direction of the arrow on top of the strainer?? the strainer still seems to work, as there was debris in it that i removed, however, it seems as though it was put on incorrect. any thoughts?

The arrow on mine is with the direction of water flow.

Agreed....the arrow shows direction of flow.....or which way the indians were going.... :P
