1995 XLV Perfect Pass

I recently picked up a 2005 XLV. The boat is great! I am thinkinag about adding Perfect Pass. Does the 2005 XLV w/340 engine have the drive by wire system or is it the conventional cable system? From what I understand installing Perfect Pass on the drive by wire system is eazy. I believe the conventional cable throttle system is more difficult. Any info would help. Thanks!

might change your "subject" line to 05.

anyway i am 99% certain that your 05 is not drive by wire system.

still not a hard install.

check with ed. he installed it by himself.

I'm also pretty sure that drive by wire didn't show up in Moombas in general until 07. I believe this is becasue this the 1st yr all engines were stock with EFI and no carb models were offered
