At what RPM does your boat run 22mph? Mine was at about 3000 and was wondering if that was high....

The RPM sounds a bit high for that speed. I would think the prop pitch may have an impact on this as well. Do you have access to a GPS to calibrate the speedos?

I don't have one but as long as that doesn't sound way to high I think it is good. It ran well but my old boat ran at about 25-2600 rpm's at that speed.

Eric,
You have LSV correct? If you have upgrade wakeboard prop, that is pretty close...
My old Outback with stock 13x13 3 blade held REAL Close to the old 30mph at 3000 rpm... Had to calibrate it that way most trips to make sure it was constant. Not an issue on LSV with Perf pass.

But when towing, that is probably correct on the LSV.. It does not plane as well as the DD's do so it is at a higher rpm at that speed. Outback would tow at 20 mph at low 2200 rpm range..

hope this helps.

Yes I have a 06 LSV. I have a four blade on it not sure if that is stock or not.

Eric, I would also say your are the victim of a low pitched prop 8)

I guess I am suffering from large prop envy......
